James Dumont, born August 12, 1965 in USA, is an actor. He plays Captain Richard Lafouchette in Treme. He guest stars in the first, second, third and fourth seasons. He has been active since 1980 and has also had recurring roles in the New Orleans set third season of American Horror Story and Men of a Certain Age . He has had guest roles in appeared in the series Nashville, Hung and Mad Men. He has also had roles in the films Speed (1994), Catch Me If You Can (2002), S.W.A.T. (2003) and Dallas Buyers Club (2013).
