Irvin Mayfield, born December 23, 1977 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, is a musician. He is a trumpeter and band leader . He is the co-founder of the band Los Hombres Calientes and the founder and band leader of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. He plays a fictionalised version of himself in Treme. He guest stars in the third and fourth seasons. He has been active since 1990.
