Eric Overmyer, born September 25, 1951 in Boulder, Colorado, USA, is a motion picture writer and producer and play-write. He is the co-creator of Treme with David Simon. He is an Executive Producer and writer for the series and has worked on the first and second seasons. He has also collaborated with Simon on the series Homicide: Life on the Street and The Wire. Overmyer has also worked extensively on the Law & Order franchise and the series New Amsterdam and Close to Home.
