Derrick Tabb is a New Orleans musician. He is the snare drummer in the Rebirth Brass Band and the founder of The Roots of Music charitable organisation. He plays a fictionalised version of himself in Treme. He guest stars in the first, third and fourth seasons. He has been active since 1990.
