"Careless Love" is the sixth episode of the third season. It is the 27th episode of the series overall. The teleplay was written by Chris Offutt from a story he co-wrote with Executive Producer George Pelecanos. It was directed by Anthony Hemingway. It was first broadcast by HBO on 28 October, 2012 and drew 0.49 million viewers.[1]
